YouTube Superstar

This Thursday night, the wife and I went to see the Twins play in Baltimore. And since it's the Orioles, the home crowd didn't seem very excited to be there. They were so bored, in fact, that some youngster decided to make a show of himself by running out on the field.

So, I popped out my little Canon Powershot S3IS and took a video.

I submitted the video to the sports blog Deadspin, and they posted it shortly thereafter. Then it showed up on Yahoo! Sports. And then on NBC Sports Hardball Talk, which I saw thanks to a post by my favorite Twins blogger, Aaron Gleeman. And then on The Huffington Post. And of course then on CBS News' sports page. And probably a million other places.

When I got home last night, it was on the local news. And they were kind enough to provide attribution to my YouTube username.

And now I find out that it's today's most viewed video on YouTube.

So I'm not really but kind of famous in my own mind! This newfound non-celebrity-ish-ness calls for some drastic life changes. I'm going to start wearing a monocle.
